Underachievement in high ability pupils is when there is a marked difference between potential and performance. Why do high ability students underachieve? How do we know that they are underachieving?
This session will explore:
1) Specific case studies that evaluate socio-economic, emotional and systemic reasons for underachievement in AG and T students. 2) Profiles of gifted underachievers. 3) The assessment and identification of AG and T underachievers. 4) The interventions and solutions that can make the difference.
